The terms, policies and conditions (collectively known as "Conditions") described below govern the use of this site (referred to as "Act II Books and Puppets" or "site"). Your use and/or placement of any order indicate your acceptance of these Conditions.  Act II Books and Puppets of Langley WA.

Sales and Use Tax
  • We collect sales tax to Washington State only.  Online sales tax collecting was required by many states due to the  US Supreme Court Ruling in 2018.  Your purchase may not be tax exempt if purchased from or shipping to another state and your state may require the sales tax or use tax to be reported by you. 
Forms of Payment
  • Customers must be 18 years or older to place an order and make payments. By submitting an order, the customer acknowledges that they are 18 years or older and agree to our terms of sale.  The minimum order is $20 and we give free shipping with that.
  • We accept Master Card, VISA, Discover, American Express, using PayPal using secure online processing. Credit cards automatically handle currency exchange. Banks may charge you fees for orders placed from other countries.
  • We do not take orders by phone.  Please order online or use the option the mail a check in US Funds.
  • Our prices are shown in US dollars. 
  • Sales from us on Ebay, Amazon and our website cannot be combined.
  • We make every effort to keep our listings on the internet consistent with available stock. Orders of multiple quantities or multiple items may take slightly longer in the event we are short an item.  If an item is out of stock or is not available for an extended time we will notify you.
  • Shipping times vary depending on stock availability and shipping method.  We normally ship the next day (24 hours) depending on when the order is paid and method of payment.  Shipping times are the time it takes the carrier to deliver in full days from shipment. USPS First class mail, priority mail, and UPS ground are not guaranteed a delivery times - they are averages.
  • Sometimes things do get damaged or just don't work out for you. Please read the product information or ask us about it before you buy.  We gladly take questions.
  • You agree that our liability is limited to returning your payment or crediting your credit card for lost or damaged orders.
  • Act II Books and Puppets does not provide any warranty for transactions or communications that you may have with links from our site to other resources. 
Order Returns and Cancellations
  • Returns of reasonable nature are accepted if returned in original condition.  Up to a 20% restocking fee may be assessed on returns.
  • Make sure you check your order for damage due to shipping. Contact us by email or phone prior to returning the items.  
  • We do not pay for damage due to use after receipt. Items returned must be in original condition, including original tags attached to the item, and individual packaging exclusive of any shipping package.
  • Credit cards companies do not refund the discount fee on returns or credits so we have to charge a restocking fee of 10% the order amount.
  • Damaged items must be returned prior to receiving a credit or items in exchange.
  • Credits to credit cards will be made electronically and credits to checks are made by mail in US funds.
  • Customers are responsible for any postage to return items. If we agree to pay a refund for return postage, it will be refunded based on the cost of US Postal Service charges or UPS whichever is cheaper.
  • We are not responsible for items lost due to incorrect shipping addresses or failure of customer to pick up or otherwise arrange to receive the orders. Make sure you provide the correct addresses.
  • Postage paid is not refundable for returned items. 
  • We ship quickly. If you want to cancel your order, contact us immediately.  We will not refund postage for orders shipped and later cancelled and there will be a 20% restocking fee.
