Folkmanis discontinued the Loon hand puppet, the Little Elephant hand puppet and the Sea Lion Pup hand puppet in early February 2020.  Folkmanis discontinues a few dozen puppets each year to make room for new designs.

Loon Hand PuppetThe Loon puppet is a hand puppet with black and with body and wings bent slightly mid-span as if in flight.  The Folkmanis Loon hand puppet is black with a white belly and white spots on the back.  You can put your hand into the puppet from the back near the tail feathers to move the two wings or the head.  It is 16 inches tall from head to tail, 16 inches wide at the wings, and 5 inches thick from the back to the belly (40.6  x 40.6 x 12.7 cm).

The Folkmanis little elephant puppet has two legs and trunk that can be moved.  It is a classic gray elephant color with black eyes and two white tusks. This little elephant puppet is 6 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 7 inches long (15.2 x 17.8 x 17.8 cm).  This was released in June 2012. Discontinued in February 2020.
Little Elephant Hand PuppetThe dozen or more Little Folkmanis puppets are smaller hand puppets, a step up from finger puppets but intended for smaller hands such as for small kids hands as shown or an adult can use their fingers to move the two paws or legs and usually the lower jaw of the puppet.

The other puppet discontinued in February is the Sea Lion Puppet.  This is a smaller hand puppet ideal for young kids or smaller hands.  It is all brown and you put your hand into the puppet from underneath the body.  The Folkmanis Sea Lion Puppet has dark eyes and cute flippers. The puppet is about 11 inches long, 8 inches wide and 7 inches tall (27.9 x 20.3 x 17.8 cm). You put your hand in the head from underneath the body to move the mouth and front flippers.

Discontinued Seal Lion PuppetThis puppet requires a small hand to be able to move the flippers and the mouth.
