The book can be combined with either the Folkmanis woodpecker family finger puppets shown here, the large Folkmanis Woodpecker puppet, the Great Horned owl puppet, the large Barn Owl puppets, or the Barn owl finger puppet shown below.

 

The Folkmanis Woodpecker Family puppet was released in October 2002. The set is 7 inches (17.8 cm) tall and has a removeable parent woodpecker bird. This large woodpecker would be perfect with the telling of the story. There is a "sound chip" that you can play by pushing the button on the back of the nest. The large woodpecker is removeable and can be put back on the tree limb where your thumb fits.

The Folkmanis Barn Owl Finger Puppet is about 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall with white body, black eyes, and light brown on the wings and around the face. The Barn Owls were first released in July 2003.

The Folkmanis barn owl is a great addition with the woodpecker puppet and the children's book.The Folkmanis mother barn owl puppet is 13 inches (33 cm) tall. Her wings and head can be moved. The mouth can not be animated and the head does not rotate like some of the Folkmanis Great Horned Owl puppets.
