About Act
II Books and Puppets
 Act II Books and Puppets has been in
operation since 1989, started our site in 1995, and went totally
virtual in January 1997. We opened our store in Langley Washington
on First St., in the Fall 2005, a cute shop overlooking the water
and Camano Island. In February 2008, we purchased a building
at 111 Anthes Ave, where we now have our shop: two rooms on the
bottom floor with children's books and Folkmanis puppets and
a room upstairs with costume hats.
Whidbey Island is a great vacation spot
for any time of the year. There are lots of bed and breakfasts
to stay at, boating and many other restful activities in this
quaint seaside town that still retains its turn of the century
(1900s) atmosphere.
We carry all of the Folkmanis puppets at
20% off retail (online only) and have a number of Folkmanis puppets
that are discontinued.
We offer unique gifts made by combining our quality children's
books with Folkmanis puppets. Our newest arrivals are the
Elope costume
and dressup hats. We believe our prices combined with our
low postage and unequalled customer service will bring you back
to our store again. Postage for US and foreign shipments is calculated
automatically with our shopping cart.

Books with Puppets - We have selected
Folkmanis puppets and combined them with childrens' books that
involve the specific puppet animal. We have about 40 book and
puppet combinations from which to choose and are adding more
regularly. All our online book and puppet combinations are discounted 20% for the puppets
and 15% for the books.
- Puppets
We carry over 200 Folkmanis puppets
that are all discounted
20% off the retail price (online or by School/Library
Purchase order). There is sure to be a puppet you like.
- Elope hats - We carry
puppet hats, party hats and dressup hats that include the Harry
Potter Sorting hat, and many Halloween costume hats, including
the witch, wizard, pirate, giraffe, unicorns, bumble bee, grasshopper,
ladybug, red ant, and many different types of dragons. We also
have Elope costume glasses, Renaissance hats, and more.
- Audiobooks about
- we carry all the Harry
Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Hank
the Cowdog audiobooks in print. Check out our favorite
and classic audiobooks (black beauty, Jungle Books, Grimms
and Andersen's fairy tales). The audio books are discounted 20%.
- American
Girls Books - We carry the Pleasant
Company's American Girls Series books discounted 15% from the
retail prices.
- Children's
Books - We have a growing list
of childrens books to read for just plain enjoyment.
- Educational
Videos We carry videos on English
as a Second Language and studying English Grammar. Check out
our our instructructional videos on taking the SAT, ACT, MAT,
ASVAB, GED and many other tests for students in college and other
helpful courses.

Help - Our shopping cart is designed
to make your shopping easy. Shipping charges are calculated directly
for surface mail delivery to any location in the world that the
US Post Office delivers mail. Orders over $95 are not charged
shipping when sent to US, APO/FPO or Canadian addresses. Tax
is added for Washington State residents. We do not collect and
customs taxes due on receipt in other countries.
