The Folkmanis spider puppets released in
March 2002 replaces the former
spider.
The new spider puppet is 11 inches (28
cm) long and much more realistic. The main body and parts of
the legs have a hair-like material. You put your fingers ina
black glove underneath and move six of the eight legs. Of course
you have to choose which legs you want to move since humans only
have five fingers. The spider's head is elongated with black
raised eyes set in a blue background.
The large black spider was discontinued
February 2007. Limited
