The Folkmanis "My First Puppets"
soft book is 8 inches by 8 inches. It has 4 pages for baby play
with 4 hand puppets and 4 attached finger puppets, a rattle and
crinkle sounds. The first page includes a flower finger puppet
attached by a string to the book so the puppet won't get lost.
The next page has a frog and mini frog puppet that says "Eat
with me". Then there is a page with an octopus ("Swim
with me") and the fourth page has a dog ("Sing with
me"), each with a mini finger puppet attached by a string
to the book. The parent can put their hand in the larger puppets
attached to pages. New in July 2001 and discontinued February
2008.
This was one of the first of the Baby
Folkmanis line and has received several recognitions:
